‘Twas a rough day at sea on the boat with our pirate crew! These pirates had battled scurvy and shipwrecks, but nothing could prepare them for this kid’s birthday party on the river. Everyone was trapped below deck with 30 energetic 10 year olds who were trying to steal the pirates’ gold, guns and daggers… not to mention their sanity! The parrot was the first of the many victims of the day, although the children were convinced he was likely dead all along since he didn’t ask for a cracker even once. These young deck swabs were clearly in survival mode and no amount of mayhem or murder could faze them. They will undoubtedly make excellent pirates themselves one day and definitely had a party on the seas (aka The Fraser River) to remember!
