Welp! We sure dun did attend the Hillbilly Weddin’ last night here in Grande Prairie. Coincidently, all of our guests seem to work at Vision Credit Union in Manning, AB! Isn’t that just so funny. Some of the most memorable moments were when Buck gave a very impromptu, very touching speech about how happy he was for Lily Beth and Donovan…yet he just didn’t understand why JT was so lovey all these years.
Our wedding photographer showed up to the wedding with her fancy dancy disposable camera, and documented all sorts of fun moments.
Also, Donovan and Lily Beth were just so excited to consummate their marriage that tried to make it work under the table, but had to find the right fit, but ran on out of there when they wound up under Buck’s table. Turns out the linen closet was much more comfortable.
Finally, to conclude the evening, awards were given out, usually someone gets a Super Sleuth award, but somehow with this group, not a single member got it right! So we handed out two Bumbling Fool awards to Anne Krahn, and Kathy & Willy. We got pictures with them, as well as our Pig Hollerin’ champion, which was judged by Me-Maw and Nellie. All while Kate watched over us!
