Everyone in Markerville found the city slicker groom, Donovan, pretty
suspicious. A wealthy country music singer…who refused to sing? But
was he suspicious enough to commit murder?

Well the Hillbillys had a wedding, and Markerville was the place to hold a reception for sure. They were servin’ up Mema’s famous moonshine on every table.

I’m sure people in the next county heard The Night Mayor of Markerville in the Hog Calling contest. And wouldn’t you know it…Someone got murdered. But more important than the murder is we managed to help raise some funds for the restoration of the Butter House.
