Interactive Murder Mystery Entertainment in Winnipeg
Winnipeg has no shortage of strong restaurants, hotels and event spaces. The question is what happens after everyone arrives. Smoking Gun Entertainment turns the room itself into the entertainment with interactive murder mysteries built for corporate celebrations, Christmas parties, team-building events, fundraisers and private gatherings.
Winnipeg’s event history includes a six-actor Smoking Gun performance for the Manitoba Club President’s Gala. It demonstrates that the troupe can handle formal events without turning the evening into traditional stage theatre.
Our actors work among the guests. Characters begin mingling, introducing relationships and quietly creating reasons for everybody to distrust one another. Clues emerge, someone meets an unfortunate end and the room becomes an investigation. Guests can question suspects, compare theories and compete to solve the mystery, but nobody is required to act or perform in front of the group.
That balance is especially useful for company events. Extroverts can throw themselves into the investigation while quieter guests still get the full story and comedy from their tables. Because the performers improvise with what happens in the room, the show feels personal without requiring a fully custom script.
Smoking Gun offers a range of themes suited to different audiences, from corporate-safe holiday mysteries to weddings, Mafia stories, reunions, resort disasters and more adult private events. We can also incorporate light company references when appropriate.
You provide the venue and meal; we bring the actors, props, mystery and detective. The result is a dinner or social event with a built-in reason for people to interact rather than another evening of small talk followed by a DJ.
Where we perform around Winnipeg
Our Winnipeg market covers the city and nearby Southern Manitoba communities such as Headingley, Selkirk and Stonewall. If your venue is just outside Winnipeg, there is usually no reason to move the event into the city simply to accommodate the entertainment.
We can also look at bookings in Steinbach, Portage la Prairie and farther south toward Morden or Winkler. For events outside Winnipeg, send the exact location and guest count so we can confirm cast availability and travel rather than applying a one-size-fits-all rule.
